About Me
One can never have too many zipper pouches—trust me, I know. I have at least four just for traveling alone. Every purse and tote I carry has its own set, each pouch serving its own unique purpose. One for every mood, one for every thing.
Feeling overwhelmed by choices? That’s where I come in. I’ve already done the hard part—sorting through endless fabrics to find the absolute best ones. Think of it as a curated collection of joy, one zipper at a time.
I’m a wife, mom of four wonderful sons, and soon-to-be grandma! My husband is often busy in the workshop or lost in a good book. You’ll find me sewing, creating, and sipping a warm cup of chai (my favorite any time of day!).
I love using my hands to make beautiful things that reflect the goodness and creativity of God. Every stitch is a small reminder that we’re created by a Maker who delights in every detail.
The Journey of PaperFromHeaven
2009 – I originally opened my Etsy shop selling handmade paper crafts.
2011 – I taught myself how to sew and started creating fun, functional organizing products for kids. What began as a creative outlet quickly became a passion.
2011 – My father-in-law bought this domain years ago and kept it safe for me—waiting until I was ready to bring my online shop to life.
2015 – I faced my fear of zippers (and won!)—and that’s when the zipper pouch obsession officially began.
2015–2017 – PaperFromHeaven became more than just a hobby. It fully supported our family of six while my husband was in school—something I’ll always be grateful for.
2019–2022 – I took a step back from the shop to focus on homeschooling and home life. It was a season of growth in a different way.
2023 – The spark returned. Fabric started arriving (as it does!), and I couldn’t resist the call to sew again. Bright, happy bags were back on the sewing table.
2024 – I joined Faire Marketplace and stepped into a new chapter of small business growth.
2025 – Fourteen years after buying my domain, I finally launched my very own standalone shop—off Etsy and into something truly mine.
